Atalanta Hawks Point Guard Trae Young is one player that has had his career bending from left to right like Birches, this has been pummeled by his defensive buffoonery or maybe just down to his small size, that allows a bigger opponent to drive past him.

No dispute about Trae’s small size, but it is obvious that when he is on defense he loses concentration easily, Trae is no Mentality giant on the defense that is why lesser rated player finds it easy facing him.
Trae Young who is averaging 29.6 this season, also boosting of over 3,300 career points.
At some point, Trae was dubbed the new Steph Curry, because of his ability to shoot outside thearc. He is averaging 3.4 3-pointer per game this season, while Steph has a career average of 3.6 3-pointer per game. When Young blossomed in the NCAA, it looked increasingly impossible to stop the comparison with Steph.

His ball-handling ability is absolutely sublime, he registered a double-double in their game last against the New York Knicks, (before the Coronavirus Outbreak Flooded all games away indefinitely). 42 points 11 assists, but all these figures count to nothing for Atalanta as they still could not beat the Knicks, quite necessary for Trae in terms of individual ability.
His effort is always proved abortive as those huge figures most time don’t win games for his side.
Atalanta Hawks can’t give Trae what he won’t in terms of the right personnel, maybe a trade
away from the Hawks to a side with relatively good defensive efficiency, which will reduce Young defensive duties giving him more chance to focus on offense.
After all, he is just like a figure-head when on defense.

Quite complacent, he was slammed hard by Dwayne Wade for his statement during a game against Miami Heats. Atalanta Hawks led the game in the fourth quarter, while Trae was on his way out he shouted ‘ it is over’, this did not go down well with Jimmy Butler, who heard Trae’s scream.
Miami Heats then rallied back to win that game, ‘maybe that statement from Trae Young was all they were waiting to turn things around’.
No doubt Trae Young performance seems to be increasing every season, maybe we have to wait
then to see how he will fair defensively subsequently.
