Foremost politician and activist, Comrade Lekan Bello has urged Muslims and all Nigerians to fully imbibe the virtues of Eid-el-fitri and show more good neighbourliness to achieve a better Nigeria.
Bello in a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan, Oyo state capital congratulated Muslim faithfuls on the successful completion of the fasting period despite the formidable challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic urging all to continue observing the health precautions and sustain the acts of purity, charity, perseverance and tolerance in all general conduct.
According to him, the need to love and to share has never been profoundly communicated as during the current global fight against Coronavirus adding that the restrictions and inconveniences imposed by the novel coronavirus has made the observation of this year’s Ramadan far more tasking and indeed more spiritually rewarding for all Muslims.
Bello however solicited the support of the people of Oyo state for the incumbent administration led by Engineer Seyi Makinde who he described as a dedicated and diligent servant of the masses.
